Texas Instruments TLV62080DSGT is a 2-5V Single Cell Li-Ion/Li-Pol Battery Charger System with Power Path Management and Shunt Current Sensing. The device uses a highly efficient charge cycle to charge the battery quickly and accurately with its full voltage range from 2V to 5V. It comes with an integrated MPPT Control system which ensures the maximum charge efficiency. The device also includes a versatile power path management system which allows multiple paths for charging and discharging. It requires minimal external components while providing low Iq power consumption and high power efficiency. In addition, the device features a high side shunt current sense capability. The device is available in a QFN-16 package and is ideally suited for use in applications including mobile phones, digital cameras, portable medical applications, and low power home appliances.
