The MSP430F2618TPMR from Texas Instruments is a MSP430 Ultra-Low Power MCU for sensor system designs. It features an integrated SPI and I2C bus, a programmable capacitive touch controller, and integrated ultra-low-power peripherals such as an LCD controller. The device is an extremely versatile solution for automation and monitoring designs in industrial, home, and personal health applications. It features an ultra-low power 16-bit RISC architecture with a frequency up to 8MHz and 10-bit A/D conversion. The MSP430 F2618TPMR offers programmable compensation for sensors, a high-power sleep mode, advanced analog-to-digital performance, and advanced digital signal processing capabilities. The device also includes 512 B of Flash memory, 32 KB of RAM, up to 136x I/O pins, internal oscillator options, a watchdog timer, and an advanced analog peripherals set.
