The ON Semiconductor serial SRAM family includes several integrated memory devices, including this 64 K serial-access static random access memory, internally organized into 8 K words of 8 bits each. These devices are manufactured using ON Semiconductor's advanced CMOS process for high speed and low power consumption. These devices operate through a single chip select (CS) input and use a simple serial peripheral interface (SPI) serial bus. A single data input and data output line along with a clock are used to access the data in the device. n64S830HA devices include pause pins to enable communication with the device to be paused. After a pause, input transitions are ignored. These devices operate over a wide temperature range of ?40°C to +85°C and are available in several standard packages.
