The Texas Instruments F280049RSHSR is a 5V, 300mA, Low Dropout (LDO) Voltage Regulator designed to provide a fixed output voltage of 5V while operating from an input voltage range of 2.8V to 7V. The device can provide up to 300mA of output current using an external series pass transistor, while offering low dropout voltage of only 225mV at 300mA. The F280049RSHSR is designed with a thermal protection feature to prevent the device from overheating due to overload. The device also offers low power shutdown and is designed with low output noise and good load regulation. The F280049RSHSR is housed in a 3-pin SOT23 package, providing a small footprint for space constrained designs.
