Texas Instruments LM3881 MMX/NOPB is a high-grade, low-power amplifier designed for audio systems. This amplifier is ideal for use in automotive audio, home theater systems, gaming consoles and other consumer audio applications that require high-fidelity sound. The LM3881 MMX/NOPB offers enhanced features and great sound performance. It features a Class AB amplifier design and utilizes better technology than other similar amplifiers on the market. The LM3881 has a maximum output power of 150 W per channel RMS. It supports multi-channel configurations up to four stereo channels. Additionally, TI added a Mute and Standby function to reduce power consumption, making it more energy efficient. The design of the LM3881 also includes short-circuit protection, temperature protection, and thermal shutdown protection to help ensure system safety, as well as better reliability.
