The Texas Instruments AM3874BCYE100 is a Faraday rotation based sensor designed to measure small magnetic fields. The sensor provides small, low- power output signals that are ideal for applications requiring precise measurements of extremely small signals in reasonable time. The AM3874BCYE100 can be used in applications such as angle detection and heading detection, allowing engineers to quickly and accurately assess the angular positions and orientations of objects. The sensor features a low power consumption design, with a current draw of less than 8 mA at 4.5 V, and a high sensitivity to minute magnetic field changes. This sensor can detect up to 0.0003 mV/m2 (±15 μT max) and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Additionally, the AM3874BCYE100 is available in both die and package formats.
