Analog Devices Inc. AD976BNZ is a precision, 16-bit sigma-delta digital-to- analog (SD-DAC) converter with integrated digital filter. This converter offers superior dynamic performance with 90 dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and 85 dB total harmonic distortion (THD). It has two user-programmable, fixed- frequency clocks to reduce external clocking requirements. The conversion rate of the AD976BNZ is programmable from 1.2 MHz to 1.6 MHz. The AD976BNZ also features two types of outputs - analog current or analog voltage - and can runs from a single supply voltage of 2.7V to 5.25V, making it the ideal choice for many industrial and consumer applications requiring high-fidelity output signals.
