? TThe Texas Instruments UC3706N is a high-performance analog/digital motor speed controller. It is designed to accurately control the speed of brush or brushless DC motors. It comes with analog and digital inputs, providing a wide range of control options, configurable for applications such as electric vehicle speed controllers, UPS systems, and cooling fan controllers. It has a range of features which make it an ideal choice for a wide range of applications. The UC3706N features ControlLogic digital control, configurable power supply, integrated power supply voltage monitoring, and fault detection/protection. It is available in three-phase designs, has software programmable switching frequency up to 84 kHz, and has an optional onboard PWM generator. It also offers standard features such as over current, temperature and voltage protection, adjustable PWM frequency, flexible pulse width modulation (PWM) mode, undervoltage lockout, and more.
