Texas Instruments OPA2170AIDGKR is an operational amplifier designed for a wide range of audio applications. It features high precision and low noise in a surface mount, MSOP-8 package. This voltage feedback, low power op-amp uses advanced process technology to achieve a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and low distortion. The device includes a power-down feature that disables the output stage; this ensures low power consumption and eliminates the need to reset the gain settings when the amplifier is powered down and back up. The high common-mode rejection and excellent power supply rejection also allows for a simpler signal chain design. With an output current up to 50mA, the OPA2170 is capable of driving high power mono and stereo DC-coupled amplifier stages. Additionally, the OPA2170AIDGKR features an integrated compensated input stage for the highest possible small signal performance. The unity gain stable and compensated amplifier is essential for applications such as audio signal processing, line and bridge amplifiers, gain stages for active filters, and a variety of audio signal conditioning circuits.
