** MAX608EPA Description **
The MAX608EPA low-voltage step-up controller has an input voltage range of 1.8V to 16.5V. When no load is present, pulse-frequency modulation (PFM) control provides high efficiency while using only 85A (typical). Furthermore, a logic-controlled shutdown mode reduces supply current to a typical 2A. The output voltage is factory set at 5V and can be adjusted with an external resistor divider from 3V to 16.5V.
