The Texas Instruments CD4068BE is a Quad Exclusive-OR gate, part of the 4000 logic series. This device is an 8 pin integrated circuit composed of four logic gates and is capable of operating on a supply voltage of 3V to 18V. The CD4068BE is capable of handling input signals between ground and the supply voltage that it is powered by. This gives it excellent noise immunity when it is hooked up to the digital circuitry controlling it. The device uses CMOS technology, which gives it low power consumption, low leakage, and fast switching speeds. Each gate within the CAN be used independently and can be used as a buffer or an inverter. This makes the CD4068BE ideal for simple logic operations such as synchronization, storage, multiplexing, and logic expansion. Finally, the device has a very low propagation delay, enabling it to process input signals quickly and accurately. All of these features, combined with its reliable operation, make the Texas Instruments CD4068BE an excellent choice for a wide range of applications.
