Texas Instruments' TPS2410PW is a low-noise, low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator. It offers high-performance performance, low quiescent current, and low dropout voltage, making it ideal for many power applications. It features an integrated power-on reset/UVLO/short circuit protection, and selectable high/low input voltage protection with programmable current limits. The device operates off of a 5-14V input voltage range and provides a regulated output up to 10A and 4.2V. The wide input voltage range and adjustable current limits provide flexibility in many design applications. The device is thermally protected, allowing it to run safely at higher output currents, and the precision enable/disable pin allows for greater control over output power. The TPS2410PW is a great choice for low-noise, low-dropout linear regulation in a variety of design scenarios.
