The Texas Instruments DAC712UK is a CMOS 8-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) chip. It is capable of outputting signals up to 5 V peak-to-peak and has a constant current slew rate of 10 V/uS. The device has a low output impedance of 1 K and low power consumption of 840 uA. It has an integrated a 2X amplifier, allowing for a more precise output. The chip is designed to minimize the output errors due to temperature and impedance. Additionally, it has a 0.7 LSB typical integral linearity and a temperature coefficient of 0.4 LSB/degC. It is designed for applications where precision and accuracy are paramount such as medical, industrial, and communication systems. With the integrated amplifier, it is an ideal solution for low cost and low power applications.
