The Texas Instruments REF5030AIDR is a Precision Low Dropout (LDO) Linear Regulator. It is composed of an internal error amplifier, precision reference, logic and power output stage, and requires only two external resistors and capacitors for operation. It is ideal for applications requiring high accuracy and precision at a low power dissipation. The device is specified with an output voltage of 5.0V and a current limit of 30mA. It is designed to provide very low dropout voltage under full load conditions, resulting in high efficiency and reduced power dissipation. The REF5030AIDR also features a low quiescent current, which helps reduce power consumption and extend battery life. It is designed to accept a wide input voltage range, making it well- suited for a variety of applications. The REF5030AIDR is available in a MSOP-8 package and comes with an advanced thermal shutdown protection.
