The Texas Instruments TPS63700DRCT is an integrated circuit that is designed to deliver a high-efficiency LED driver solution with a 20 mA constant current LED source: it offers users a fast transient response and wide LED current range. The device provides users with a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 36V, while output current can be set up to 25mA or higher, depending on the application. The output current is temperature-independent and is shiftable between multiple parallel strings of LEDs. The device is current-mode controlled and supports programmable frequency up to 1 MHz. Additionally, the TPS63700DRCT has internal over-current protection and thermal shutdown, allowing for high power led applications. It also has an enable/shutdown pin for applications needing power-on/off control.
