Overview
The H8/300L Series is a series of single-chip microcomputers (MCU:
microcomputer unit), built around the high-speed H8/300L CPU and equipped with
peripheral system functions on-chip.
Within the H8/300L Series, the H8/3627 Series of single-chip microcomputers
features a high precision DTMF generator for tone dialing. Other on-chip
peripheral functions include three types of timers, two serial communication
interface channels, and an A/D converter. The H8/3627 Series includes six
models, the H8/3627, H8/3626, H8/3625, H8/3624, H8/3623, and H8/3622, with
different amounts of on-chip memory: the H8/3627 has 60 kbytes of ROM and 2
kbytes of RAM; the H8/3626 has 48 kbytes of ROM and 2 kbytes of RAM; the
H8/3625 has 40 kbytes of ROM and 2 kbytes of RAM; the H8/3624S has 32 kbytes
of ROM and 1 kbyte of RAM; the H8/3623S has 24 kbytes of ROM and 1 kbyte of
RAM; and the H8/3622S has 16 kbytes of ROM and 1 kbyte of RAM. In addition,
thanks to the improvement of the power supply circuit, low power consumption
and low radiation noise have been realized.
The H8/3627 has a ZTAT* version with user-programmable on-chip PROM.
