The STMicroelectronics STM32L462VET6 is a highly integrated, low-power, ARM Cortex-M4 based microcontroller. It is part of the STM32L4 family of MCUs and is based on the Arm® Cortex®-M4 processor. It features a wide range of on-chip peripherals and a 2.5 V to 3.6 V power supply range. This device features up to 512 Kbytes of Flash memory, up to 80 Kbytes of SRAM memory, and up to 128 Kbytes of embedded EEPROM for data storage. This device also features a rich set of connectivity peripherals, such as USB, Ethernet, CAN, and SDIO. It also provides an integrated 16/32-bit RISC processor, advanced graphic accelerators, and various analog blocks such as 12-bit analog to digital converter (ADC) and 6-bit digital to analog converter (DAC). In addition to its powerful on-chip peripherals, the STM32L462VET6 provides an external memory interface for system expansions and secure communication protocols such as hardware cryptography. With its low power consumption and low cost, this device is suitable for a wide range of applications, such as industrial automation, medical devices, automotive applications, and consumer electronics.
