Texas Instruments' MSP430F2013IPW microcontroller is an ultra-low power MCU designed for a range of applications including metering, sensing, and monitoring. The device is suitable for battery-powered or energy-harvesting applications. It features a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, making it a reliable component even in extreme temperatures. The included FLASH memory includes 2KB of storage (2K x 8 + 256B), more than enough for most applications. The processor itself runs at 16MHz, allowing for quick operations, and the device comes as a 14-pin TSSOP component. This makes the device suitable for space-constrained applications. All in all, the MSP430F2013IPW is perfect for applications that require superb performance while running on low power.
