The Texas Instruments OPA549S is a professional-grade, low-power, high-speed monolithic operational amplifier integrated circuit (IC) designed and constructed on a single die. It offers a wide bandwidth of 2.9 MHz at unity gain, a high slew rate of 34 V/μs, and a slew-enhanced gain of over 4.5 V/μs. It offers rail-to-rail input/output (RRIO) capability, ultra-high open-loop gain of 80 dB, low noise at the inputs, and low offset voltage of ±200 V. In addition, the OPA549S has low quiescent operating current of only 25 μA making it an optimal choice for battery-powered and other energy-sensitive applications. With its low-power architecture, attention also is paid to power efficiency and fast settling time for load/source transient responses. The IC supports a wide supply range of 4.5 V to 16 V, making it useful for applications across a wide range of power domains. The OPA549S is ideal for a wide range of audio, communications, instrumentation, and medical applications.
