Texas Instruments UC3825ADWTR is a high performance motor speed/control/precision current mode controller. It combines current-mode control with various performance automation features such as fixed frequency operation, frequency foldback, automatic burst mode operation, and current limit control. The device combines an improved current-mode, PWM control and an internal oscillator, allowing stable operation, with fast transient response and excellent line and load regulation. It is ideal for a wide range of applications, including lamp ballast control, remote speed controllable motor control, and brushed DC motor control. The device operates from a 4V to 42V input supply and provides a 4A output drive. The device is housed in a SOT-223 package and is rated for a -40°C to 100°C temperature range.
