The FAN3100 2 A gate driver provides high peak current pulses at short switching intervals for driving N-channel enhancement mode MOSFETs in low-side switching applications. the driver is available with TTL (FAN3100T) or CMOS (FAN3100C) input thresholds. The internal circuitry holds the output low until the supply voltage is in operating range, providing an undervoltage lockout feature. This bipolar MOSFET combination provides high peak currents during the Miller flat phase of the MOSFET turn-on/turn-off process, minimizing switching losses while providing rail-to-rail voltage swing and reverse current capability. the FAN3100 also provides dual inputs that can be configured to operate in either non-inverting or inverting mode, enabling functionality. The FAN3100 is available in a leadless finished 2x2mm 6-lead molded leadless package (MLP) for minimal size and excellent thermal performance, or in the industry standard 5-pin SOT23.
