STMicroelectronics' ST72C314J4T6 is an ultra-low power 8-bit microcontroller with a low cost, low power, and low complexity design specifically designed for battery-powered applications like remote control and sensing, security and packet processors for robust, low power networks. The ST72C314J4T6 is powered by a single 5V supply and supports 1 Mbyte of Flash memory, 128 Kbyte of SRAM, and five timers. It operates at speeds up to 24 MHz and offers a wide range of communication peripherals including a USART, an I2C bus, an integrated 10-bit ADC, and a resolution of 10-bit DAC. The ST72C314J4T6 also includes 18 I/O pins and a watchdogs/watchdog timer, embedded LCD driver and LCD RAM, programmable user timers, and a real-time clock. The device also features a wide range of power saving modes, including sleep, hibernate and shutdown modes.
