The Texas Instruments LM2678SX-5.0/NOPB DC Switching Regulator is a high- efficiency, 5A, 260kHz step-down DC-DC converter. This surface mount fixed 5 V buck converter features a DDPAK/TO-263-7 package. The LM2678SX-5.0/NOPB enables low-noise, high-efficiency power solutions. This device offers up to 98% efficiency when using an external Schottky diode and up to 95% efficiency using an internal MOSFET. It has an adjustable output voltage or can be used as a fixed voltage supply for 5V output. Additionally, it has an adjustable switching frequency, adjustable Soft-Start and adjustable operating current. With its high-efficiency operation and adjustable output, the LM2678SX-5.0/NOPB is ideal for applications such as telecommunication, industrial, consumer, and computing applications.
