The Texas Instruments UC2625DW is a highly integrated, low voltage, low power CMOS, monolithic integrated circuit optimized for flyback DC-DC converter applications. This device provides all the necessary features and functionality required to construct a very efficient flyback power supply, including primary side-controlled peak current mode control, cycle by cycle current limit, auto-restart and light load efficiency optimization. This device also provides comprehensive fault protection functions, including primary and secondary over-voltage protections, over-temperature shutdown, and short-circuit protection. With its low external parts count, the UC2625DW is suitable for a wide range of very compact designs. Its low operating voltage and high integration make it popular for automotive and industrial applications.
