Texas Instruments' TPS5450MDDAREP is a Dual High-Voltage Synchronous Buck Controller. The device provides three systems: a dual-channel, step-down control system that converts input voltages from 3V to 58V to output voltages from 0.8V to 34V, a single-channel, buck-boost control system that converts input voltages from 3V to 40V to output voltages from -1.5V to 34V, and a third system that is capable of light-load efficiency improvements for dual- channel applications. The TPS5450MDDAREP also provides a wide operating temperature range of -40degC to +125degC, two internal reference voltage options, two independent pulse width modulation (PWM) control blocks and two current-sensing pins. The device has integrated support for external MOSFET drivers and can switch at frequencies up to 750kHz. The device is available in a 10-lead MSOP-10 package, making it ideal for space-constrained designs.
