The Texas Instruments TPS54331DDA is a high performance DC switching regulator designed for a wide range of applications. It provides highly efficient power conversion and regulation, with up to 3A of output current and a 570kHz step- down frequency. This small, surface mount regulator is housed in an 8-lead SO PowerPad package, and has an adjustable output voltage of 0.8V. The TPS54331DDA features high efficiency over a wide input voltage range, high noise immunity and fast transient response. It also offers a low quiescent current, short circuit protection and thermal shutdown protection. The regulator is designed to be used in demanding applications such as medical, industrial and automotive. It is capable of converting an input voltage of 4.7V to 16V down to 0.8V with an efficiency of up to 95%, providing reliable and stable power.
