Texas Instruments UC28025DWR is a low-power integrated switching solution for AC/DC and isolated DC/DC power supplies. It features a very high efficiency buck-boost converter and a comprehensive set of protection features. The device is designed to meet the requirements of high-reliability applications, such as consumer electronics, computer peripherals and medical equipment. The UC28025DWR integrated switching solution features active ripple cancellation, and supports a wide input voltage range from 10V to 65V, enabling it to effectively handle universal input AC and wide range DC inputs without external components. It offers an adjustable 0.6V to 5.5V output voltage range, and an adjustable switch frequency up to 400 kHz, allowing for flexibility and improved noise performance. Protection features include over- voltage protection, foldback current-limit protection, under-voltage lockout, thermal shutdown, over-temperature protection, inhibit/soft-start, and cycle- by-cycle peak current limit. The device also includes an adapter disconnect feature for improved safety. Additionally, the UC28025DWR has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
