Texas Instruments' CD4097BE is a high-speed, quad 2-input multiplexer/demultiplexer with output latches. This product has four bilateral switches that can be used as two independent 2-channel multiplexers or as a 4-channel multiplexer. The switches also feature an "off" state, which allows for a wide range of applications. The on-chip output latches enable very high- speed channel-switching operations. This product has superior performance with propagation delays as low as 180 ns in the A and B versions. The low power operation of this device makes it ideal for mobile and battery-powered equipment. This product features a high maximum voltage rating of 30V and an operating power supply range of 2V to 30V. Additional features include fast enable control and open collector outputs for direct connection to open drain bus lines.
