The STMicroelectronics TDE1747DP is an embedded ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) designed to meet the demands of high-end embedded applications. It combines a powerful, high-performance microprocessor core and memory systems with an embedded controller and interfaces to provide a high degree of flexibility, while also offering high levels of performance and reliability. The TDE1747DP offers a 32-bit ARM®-based microprocessor core, with support for the ARM Thumb® instruction set, and built-in memories of up to 2MB of SRAM and up to 512kB of FLASH. The device also includes a high-speed system bus, DMA controller, two UARTs, three serial interfaces (e.g. SPI, I2C and I2C-bus), six timers, two analog-to-digital converters, and two device timers. The TDE1747DP is designed to provide a high level of reliable performance and scalability while also keeping power consumption low. This device also supports an extensive suite of features such as edge-triggered interrupt, time-triggered interrupt, and low-power sleep modes. The TDE1747DP is also available in small packages that are ideal for embedded systems with limited board space.
