The Texas Instruments CD74HCT139M96 is an improved performance 2-Channel Buffer/Line Driver part from the HCT family of TTL compatible CMOS logic ICs. It is designed for high-speed logic buffering, low power operation, and wide supply voltage range. This device features 2 independent channels comprised of a buffer, line driver, and a Schmitt trigger. Each channel is capable of driving up to 10 loads, and can convert slow rise/fall voltage levels to fast rise/fall outputs. This IC operates with a supply voltage of 2V-6V, and offers a propagation delay of 10ns. Other features include a high noise immunity level, over 20mA totem-pole output drive capability, an input hysteresis of 1.5V, and a low input leakage of 1µA/(Vdd-Vss). This part is available in a 16-pin DIP, and is suitable for applications requiring improved logic performance.
