The Texas Instruments CD74HC374M96 is a low power, high speed, octal, edge- triggered, D-type flip-flop with 3-state outputs. The device is designed for high speed and low power operation, and features a 5V supply voltage and an output-low enable (OEL) pin. The device operates from a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C and features a total gate delay of 0.4 ns and a power consumption of less than 1 mW. It is designed to meet the high speed requirements of various applications including timing and control, data synchronization, and bus control. The device has eight outputs, each with its own three-state output enable control and each output can be configured as an active-high or active-low output. Features include an Output-Low Enable pin (OEL) which can be used to disable the outputs, a reset pin, and an internal latch structure. The device is available in a 28-lead SSOP (Thin-Shrink) package.
