The TPS51367RVER switching regulator from Texas Instruments is a 12A, 400kHz/800kHz step-down buck converter, capable of providing a regulated output of 0.6V (1. 05V, 1. 2V, 1. 35V, and 1. 5V). It is housed in a 28-VQFN (4.5x3.5) package and is adjustable or programmable. The TPS51367RVER is optimized for space-constrained applications and provides excellent transient response ensuring optimal system performance. The device’s average current mode control architecture provides superior line and load loop performance. Steady-state continuous conduction mode maintains high efficiency over a wide input range, while hysteretic current mode helps reduce size and improve efficiency. An integrated power switch ensures robust performance and a wide operating voltage range with 0.6 V to 5.5 V input. An external synchronization pin allows synchronization of the output frequency to other power stages.
