The TPS70445PWP from Texas Instruments is a 4.5V to 24V, 4.5A, low dropout voltage regulator with low noise, high PSRR, and high output accuracy. It is used in applications such as battery powered products, portable electronics, automotive systems and point-of-load regulation. It operates from an input voltage range of 4.5V to 24V and offers an ultra-low dropout voltage of 250mV when delivering 4.5A of continuous current. The device also features internal protections such as overload, over-temperature and reverse battery protection to provide safety and reliability. It features a low output noise of 1Ω RMS and a high PSRR of 80dB, ensuring good noise reduction in noisy applications. The device also features an output accuracy of 1.5%, making it suitable for applications that require tight voltage regulation.
