The Texas Instruments TPIC7218QPFPRQ1 is a small, low-power, 8-channel active- low low-side switch marketed as a High-Side MOSFET Driver. Designed to control the turn-on and turn-off of a wide variety of load devices, the switch is equipped with a wide range of features such as active-high enable and low-side outputs, thermal protection, INTVCC support, high peak currents, and low quiescent current. The device operates from a combined 2.7V to 18V DC supply and has an output current rating of up to 15A per channel. It requires a minimum logic high voltage of 2.4V for logic-high enable or pull-down logic. The compact 8-pin package of the switch is ideal for tight space requirements and the device is suitable for applications in the integration of automation, home appliances, motor control, and telecom/computer systems.
