The TL082ACP from Texas Instruments is a general purpose, 2-Channel instrumentation amplifier designed for use in all types of signal-conditioning applications. Its combination of high input impedance, high common-mode rejection ratio, and low offset voltage make it an ideal choice for precision amplification and signal-conditioning tasks. The package comes in an 8-pin through-hole DIP. Its gain accuracy and low temperature drift characteristics make it well suited for alignment, test, and measurement applications. The TL082ACP provides two independently adjustable amplifier units, with a normal gains of 2, 4, 8 and 16.The gain can be fine-tuned with external resistors. With a wide bandwidth of 25 MHz, and a low offset voltage of only 6 mV/V, the amplifier can provide accurate results even when dealing with high frequency signals. The device also has a high common-mode rejection ratio of 76 dB at a gain of 1, reducing the effect of noise and other interfering signals. In addition, the amplifier is temperature compensated, with very low drift over temperature. This allows for reliable performance in any environmental conditions.
