Texas Instruments' TPA0211DGN is an advanced stereo audio processor. It combines an analog-to-digital converter (ADC), a digital-to-analog converter (DAC), a programmable analog gain control, a headphone driver, and a stereo line-level output driver in a 54-ball, 5mm² WLP. The TPA0211DGN supports oversampling digital filters with up to 96kHz sample rate for greater audio accuracy. It also allows for audio EQ, mixer, and sound effect functions using an external programmable processor such as a DSP or microcontroller. The point-of-load headphone driver provides up to 65.5mW of output power (into 16ð load). The headphone driver has an adjustable gain and low power shutdown control. The integrated line-level output driver offers up to 200mW and is capable of driving most audio speakers. The TPA0211DGN is ideal for desktop, notebook, and tablet PCs, as well as other portable applications such as gaming consoles and wireless Bluetooth speakers.
