The Texas Instruments UCC27538DBVR is an advanced, patented dual-channel, high-side MOSFET driver and level shifter. It is designed to drive two N-channel MOSFETs in series to control high-power applications up to 25A. The driver features extremely low RDS(on) and low quiescent current to optimize power efficiency. It is compatible with various logic levels, up to 3.4 V for standard and up to 6.5 V for high-voltage applications. The UCC27538DBVR is also fitted with advanced protection features, including circuit-breaker-like overcurrent protection and a transient suppression clamp to ensure fast overload protection. The low-side output also features linear current limiting to provide constant current slew rate control. The driver is housed in a compact 8-lead SOIC package featuring an extended operating temperature range from -40°C to +150°C.
