The Texas Instruments Linear Voltage Regulator TPS79918DDCT provides a 200mA output current capability, making it ideal for low-power applications that require a low quiescent current and good output accuracy, over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. It also includes a fixed output voltage of 5V and a maximum output current of 400mA. The TPS79918 is offered in an ultra-small 5-pin SOT-23 package, ideal for applications where space is at a premium. This regulator features excellent line and load regulation, low dropout voltage, and low ripple and noise. It also offers thermal shutdown, short-circuit foldback and current limit protection, and ultra-low power shutdown. All these features make the TPS79918 an ideal choice for cost- sensitive applications.
