The TI UC3825N is a current mode dc-dc switch mode controller from Texas Instruments. It is designed to control and regulate the power delivered from a line voltage source to a subsystem using a synchronous buck converter. This integrated circuit offers a wide range of features, such as: • Auto-skip mode for high line regulation • An adjustable frequency oscillator to control switching frequency • “Soft On” startup • Programmable peak current limit • Current balance control • Logic shutdown / Enable input • Self-supplied ramp compensation • Over temperature protection • Current monitoring output • Built-in voltage reference The UC3825N provides an innovative, integrated solution to create an efficient, cost-effective dc-dc converter system. It is capable of handling up to 2 Amps of continuous output current, making it an excellent choice for applications such as telecom power, industrial power supplies, and AC-DC wall adapter designs.
