The Texas Instruments BQ7694006DBT is an advanced, 4-cell Li-ion battery pack monitor IC with integrated Hall-effect current measurement. The device helps dramatically reduce the board space, cost, and complexity of monitoring four Li-ion cells in series. It features small form-factor, low power consumption and precise cell voltage, temperature, and current monitoring. The wide temperature range allows the device to operate in environments ranging from -40 to +85°C. It also features a built-in A/D converter for easy data acquisition and its self-protection feature ensures the battery remains safe. Finally, its I2C compatible interface makes for easy integration with the user system.
