The TPS61260DRVR from Texas Instruments is a synchronous buck converter which provides efficient and robust step-down DC/DC power solution. It features a 2.5-V to 6-V input voltage range, allowing users to regulate their power supply voltage with ease. The output voltage range of the device is adjustable from 0.6V to 5.5V and output current up to 2A with a no-load quiescent current of 800µA. It offers excellent power efficiency of up to 97%, improving the overall battery life of the system. The device also features a programmable frequency from 200kHz to 2.2MHz, allowing users to optimize the system performance. Additionally, it has a programmable soft-start feature to minimize the inrush current through the load, protecting downstream components from a large load inrush current. With thermal shutdown and short circuit protection, the TPS61260DRVR from Texas Instruments ensures reliability and safe operation.
