This processor is based on the TMS320C6711 processor core and has an integrated Floating Point Unit (FPU) as a standard feature. The processor is based on the TMS320C6711GFN150 architecture which features 16KB of on-chip Data and Instruction Cache, two 64KBytes of scratch-pad RAM, and an overall maximum operating frequency of 250MHz. The TMS320C6711GFN150 incorporates a dual-bus architecture which allows for simultaneous processor and memory accesses. It includes industry- standard interfaces such as a PCI Express, pin-compatible Inter Integrated Circuit (I2C), Universal Serial Bus (USB 2.0), Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI), and a real-time clock. Additionally, it comes with an integrated DSP/RISC capability for floating-point processing. The TMS320C6711GFN150 provides optimized memory management and high performance arithmetic and logic operations.
