The Texas Instruments BQ34Z100PW is a single-cell Li+ battery monitor and fuel gauge, designed to provide highly accurate estimates of the capacity and lifetime of Li+ batteries. This product provides an easy and reliable solution for managing battery charge and helping to maximize battery life. It features an embedded 14-bit ADC that can detect and log up to 16000 fuel levels, enabling high accuracy across the full usable range of Li+ battery chemistries. The product also supports a wide variety of cell topologies, such as stacked packs, and comes with built-in algorithms to minimize the impact of cell imbalance on capacity accuracy. An onboard temperature sensor ensures precise measurements with temperature compensation to better manage the lifetime of safety critical applications. The BQ34Z100PW also includes 100-kW Flash memory for maintaining PMIC data, allowing users to monitor state-of- charge and make for better system energy management decisions.
