The Texas Instruments CDCLVC1310RHBR is a high-performance, high-frequency clock and data recovery (CDR) circuit in a small 16-lead package. Its finite impulse response (FIR) interpolator with low pass filter equalization provides reliable performance in clock and data recovery applications requiring high- speed data conversion. The device is ideal for applications such as digital video, serial data transport, and XAUI, Fibre Channel, and Optical Transport Network (OTN). The device accepts a wide range of frequency inputs (up to 6 GHz) and performs clock recovery with low jitter and low bit error rate (BER). The device also supports a wide frequency range (up to 6.25 GHz) with a low noise figure while maintaining a low power profile. The device also features a Synthesizable Gating Interface (SGIF) to facilitate synchronization with external systems. The CDCLVC1310RHBR integrates Synchronous Serial Interface (SSI) to facilitate interfacing with external application- specific processors. It has programmable phase locked loop (PLL) dividers for precise frequency programming constraints. It also includes an optional digital lock detect feature.
