GENERALDESCRIPTION

The GL816E is a highly integrated, flexible application USB 2.0 Multi- Interface F lash Card Reader controller.
It supports USB 2.0 high-speed transmission to CompactFlash TM (CF)Type I/II , Micro Drive, Secure Digital TM (SD), Mini SD TM ,MultiMediaCard TM (MMC), RS MultiMediaCard TM (RS MMC), Memory Stick TM (MS), Memory Stick Duo TM
(MS Duo), High Speed Memory Stick TM (HS MS), Memory StickPro TM (MS Pro), Memory Stick Pro TM Duo(MS Pro Duo) Memory Stick ROM, SmartMedia TM (SM)5V/3.3V , and xD-Picture Card TM (xD) on one chip. Besides the flash card interface controller each, the GL816E integrates Genesys Logic own design USB 2.0high-speed UTMI (USB 2.0 Transceiver Macrocell I nterface) transceiver.
