The Texas Instruments TPS61026DRCT is a high performance, low power, step-up DC/DC power converter with an integrated high side N-Channel MOSFET switch specifically designed to deliver power to energy starved portable systems. The TPS61026 is rated for 3.2V to 40V input voltages and is capable of delivering up to 2A output current. It is also capable of shutting down automatically in the event of a current overload or thermal overload. The device is packaged in a small 16-pin QFN package for optimal board space saving. The TPS61026DRCT provides industry leading efficiency at light loads and can be used in wide range of applications, including ultrathin notebooks, MP3 players, and other handheld devices.
