NSI50010YT1G Description
The NSI50010YT1G is a simple and robust linear Constant Current Regulator (CCR) for regulating current in LEDs (similar to constant current diode, CCD). The CCR controls current across a wide voltage range using self-biased transistor (SBT) technology. It is built with a negative temperature coefficient to keep LEDs from overheating at high voltages and currents. With only 0.5V Vak, the CCR quickly switches on and is at 40% control. It does not require any external components and may be configured as a high or low-side regulator. Surges frequent in commercial signage applications are tolerated by the high anode-cathode voltage rating.
